Greetings Producers, Directors, Fashionistas and Friends,
Welcome to my webpage.
My name is Andrew Vincent, and I am so grateful that you have taken the time to view my work. I sincerely hope you like what you see. My love for design and clothing started at a very early age, as you can see from the photo of me at age five. I got the theatre bug not long after that. So, naturally, all I ever wanted to study was the arts. I was very fortunate to receive a BFA in Theatre, and a BS in Fashion Design. Even though all my education is in the field of design, I have regrettably never been able to make designing a full-time career. But my passion for it has never diminished. So, I am hoping that this website will enable me to gain more work doing what I love.It sounds a bit pompous when you put it in writing, but it’s a true statement that my entire life I have been credited with and complimented on having “excellent taste.” To me it’s like having blue eyes…I had nothing to do with it, I just got it. So, I’ve always tried my best to put it to good use. If I had to pick a word that best described my design aesthetic it would be “Classic.” I have a vast and extensive knowledge of all periods of historical clothing, undergarments, and accessories. If you want a show designed with historical accuracy, or want a gown with some historical flair, I’m your man!I would say that my greatest design inspirations are (in no particular order) Walter Plunkett, Cecil Beaton, Christian Dior, Adrian, Bob Mackie, Erte’, Valentino, Charles Worth, and Edward Molyneux. Hopefully this gives you a little insight into me and what I do. Now I invite you to click on the links above to check out some of my work.Thank you again for your visit!
